We are excited to announce the launch of our new website, designed to better support and highlight the achievements of our clubs.

We encourage clubs, parents, and guardians to share any outstanding accomplishments with us via email. We will explore ways to feature these achievements on our platform. Please ensure that consent is received beforehand for any shared information.

We also want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all clubs and teams for their tremendous success in the past season. The significant increase in registrations has greatly boosted women's and girls' football participation and growth throughout South Wales. With over 6,000 registered players in the South Wales Women's & Girls League, this number continues to rise.

We recognise and deeply appreciate the hard work of our volunteers, whose dedication ensures that women and girls have equal opportunities to play football in their communities. Without their efforts, none of this would be possible.

As we prepare for the upcoming season, we remind everyone to adhere to the "Football Association of Wales" Codes of Conduct. These rules are in place to ensure a fun experience for all. The South Wales Women's & Girls League maintains a "zero tolerance" policy for any abuse directed at players, officials, or opponents, with any issues addressed according to the SWWGL Rule Book.

We are also thrilled to support the new "sin bin" rule, recently implemented by SWFA/FAW. This rule has been successfully trialed in English football associations, leading to a reduction in offenses and creating a more pleasant environment for all participants.

Finally, we wish all clubs and teams the very best for the upcoming season.

We hope it will be a successful and enjoyable time for everyone involved.
